Hiking in the Nature Park
Pichlschloss is located along hiking trails and just a 15-minute walk from the town of Neumarkt. Throughout the valley and around the Zirbitzkogel and Grebenzenalm there are many marked paths that will take you on scenic countryside hikes.
When you stay with us, you can hike in fresh air and enjoy beautiful scenery — from leisurely walks through the valley to demanding alpine hikes on Zirbitzkogel and Grebenze. A particular challenge for hikers is the Via Natura a 130+km long trail around the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park, that can be accomplished in sections. This trail guarantees a rich experience and magnificent landscapes.
Pichlschloss is a certified for hiking, so our guests are welcomed to the Nature Park. Hiking maps and hiking guides are available at our reception desk.
